We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Associate to join our team as Trade and Transaction Reporting Manager. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in trade and transaction reporting, with a strong understanding of MiFIR and EMIR regulations. Knowledge of SFTR, ASIC, CFTC, and MAS regulations is highly desirable. This role is critical to ensuring our clients meet their regulatory obligations and maintain compliance with industry standards.
This role reports to the Director of Transaction Reporting who has a wealth of experience gained through working as a regulator.
Responsibilities include:
• Undertake trade and transaction reporting processes ensuring alignment with the relevant
regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Monitor and review reporting data for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity and resolve any discrepancies.
• Provide guidance and support to clients on regulatory reporting requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of reporting policies and procedures.
• Keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and advise development team accordingly.
• Assist in the delivery of trade and transaction reporting training, webinars, videos, round tables
and panels.
• Draft articles on key topics to be published on Qomply’s website, our social media channels as
well as external publications.
What You Need:
• Bachelor's degree or a financial markets related professional qualification.
• 2-3 years of experience in trade and transaction reporting, preferably within a financial services
or regulatory environment.
• In-depth knowledge of MiFIR and EMIR regulations.
• Preferable knowledge of SFTR, ASIC, CFTC, and MAS regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Additional skills:
• Experience with regulatory reporting software and tools.
• Familiarity with data management and reporting systems.
• Project management experience.
• Experience interacting with ARM, APA and TR technology.
